Virtus Leisure Management

Virtus are a trusted partner of the LTA for coach qualifications and CPD workshops. The LTA collaborate closely with Virtus to ensure coaches have access to outstanding development opportunities that help to enhance their career-both on and off court. A fusion of programme best practice with education and training. Virtus are one of the 12 LTA Coach Development Centre is the UK. Virtus is the coach development centre for Tennis Sussex for coach qualifications, CPD workshops, First Aid, coach network forums and safeguarding courses.

Sussex Coaches CPD

This workshop will help coaches to develop the on court skills to feel confident to start competing at the Red stage. The off court session will looking at building competition pathways within your programme to lead to players feeling confident to compete in external competitions.

Coaches who attend will be given a complementary ground pass to Eastbourne International for the same day.

Points towards the LTA Accreditation Scheme can be applied for via Independent Learning.

LTA Coach Mentoring: Diversity & Inclusion Bursaries 2025

The LTA vision is ‘Tennis Opened Up’, and they are on a mission to make tennis in Britain more relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable to all. As part of the LTA Inclusion Strategy, they want to work towards having a coaching workforce that truly reflects our sport and the society of Great Britain.

The LTA Diversity & Inclusion Bursary Scheme aims to remove barriers and support underrepresented audiences in their personal and professional coaching journey, by accessing one-on-one mentoring sessions with an LTA Coach Mentor.

The LTA are particularly interested in receiving applications from over 18 and Accredited coaches, who are part of any or all of the following communities:
