Could you be our new social media and publicity volunteer?

Are you interested in Social Media and Publicity,  Tennis Sussex are looking for a volunteer to assist the team to achieve publicity for tennis activities within the County.  The hours would be to suit you as a volunteer and you can work from home or arrange to work out of the Tennis Sussex office.  

Duties would include:

Arrange to distribute press releases to local newspapers for Tennis events in the County

Make contact with Registered Clubs and Venues to seek out newsworthy stories

Liaise with all tennis enthusiasts (communities?) including schools, colleges, universities, disabled groups, beach tennis, Padel 

Obtain and write up stories for the Tennis Sussex website and social media

Develop a network of media contacts.

Liaise with the organiser or attend County events to report on them or obtain a report

Conduct surveys to improve understanding of what material is wanted / review other Counties’ approaches to promoting tennis and help to develop the communications strategy accordingly 

Reporting to The Social Media Manager – Kate Smith and the Tennis Sussex Management Board
