Hove Beach Park is a new tennis and padel development on the Hove seafront, opened in early 2025, with six tennis courts and four padel courts. The venue is operated by Game4Padel, a UK-based company that operates a network of padel tennis facilities.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner: Rockwater, Western Esplanade, Kingsway, Hove, BN3 4FA (Next door to tennis/padel courts)
Rockwater is Brighton & Hove’s favourite event/dining location, with magnificent views over the sea, and right next to the tennis & padel courts. Thanks to Rockwater for supporting this event.

Participants: eight teams of four players each. Line ups to be confirmed.

Schedule:
9am: Meet for breakfast at Rockwater: downstairs reception.
10am-12.30 Tennis tournament: two divisions across six courts. Mixed American format, with rotating partners. Players win one point for their team with every game they win. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed teams.
Coffee, tea and soft drinks available all morning from Rockwater.
1pm-2pm: Lunch at Rockwater.
2.30pm-5.30pm: Padel competition
6-8pm: Rockwater: Drinks and food, plus prize giving, upper level at Rockwater on Hove Seafront BN3 4FA

Team captains: Important. We will require a list of players and approximate levels of each player[improver/intermediate/advanced intermediate/advanced], in advance of the Festival of Tennis. We need this for each player, for a) tennis, and b) padel. Deadline: 01 May. It’s helpful to know if a player has played competitive tennis before, or played at county level, or not.
