Julie Hobbs runs a “Lil Miss Hits She Rallies” workshop in Brighton

She Rallies Ambassador, Julie Hobbs ran a Lil Miss Hits She Rallies workshop in October at VA Brighton, attendees were from all over Sussex and included coaches, club volunteers, players plus active for life staff.

The workshop: Introducing how to run a 6 week all girl group, fun and lively starter tennis programme for 5 to 8 year olds. Sessions are based around a Miss Hits character, with each teaching their own signature tennis shot, along with tips, tricks, team games and their own video messages and other activities.

Starting the workshop off with the fun dance which every session begins with, everyone enjoyed warming up whilst learning the tennis based dance moves. We then moved around the various stations working individually as well as in pairs and groups trying out the different games and exercises using equipment including balloons, chiffon squares and fluff balls, all designed to help build skills for tennis. It wasn’t long before everyone was laughing and coming up with other great ideas.

We now look forward to hearing how everyone gets on introducing a session or fun event at their venue.

You can see some of the fun drills we tried out on the She Rallies website Lil Miss-Hits (sherallies.com)

Thank you to VA Brighton for hosting this She Rallies workshop.
