Wheelchair Tennis

Tennis Sussex is passionate about increasing the opportunities available to people with disabilities to play and access tennis.

Disability tennis is a general term used to describe the various versions of tennis that are on offer for disabled people to have fun playing and include deaf, learning disability, wheelchair and visually impaired tennis, however, the sport is adaptable to a wide range of disabilities.

In Sussex we have a Disability Tennis Coordinator whose role is to develop these opportunities through working closely with the LTA, local clubs, coaches, schools and colleges, local authorities and disability providers, to name a few. If you are interested in getting involved or would like to discuss any aspect of disability tennis in Sussex please get in touch.
