LGBTQ+ awareness for tennis venues:  win a pair of Lexus Eastbourne International Centre Court tickets (4 pairs available)!  
Rally Allies Webinar - Taking Pride Into Your Tennis Venue


In celebration of "Pride Day" at Lexus Eastbourne International, we are excited to announce a collaboration with Pride in Tennis for some free online LGBTQ+ awareness sessions for Sussex tennis clubs. Not only will you have some expert learning and advice around LGBTQ+ inclusion, by attending a webinar you enter a draw for 2 Centre Court tickets to Eastbourne on Friday 27th June. You will also receive a free resources pack giving you the tools to make your tennis venue more inclusive.

Sessions are delivered by national award winner Ian Pearson-Brown, Founder of Pride in Tennis

To take up this exciting opportunity, and to enter the draw, sign up for free here (limit of 30 spaces):
The sessions on Tuesday 20th 18.30-20.30pm and 21st May 10am-12pm are tailored towards Sussex venues. However you are welcome to sign up to any session. Once you have attended the session, you will then be entered into the draw.

Volunteers’ Week is a UK-wide campaign that takes place each year during the first week of June, recognising the invaluable contributions of volunteers across the country. This year, it runs from Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th June.
What are you doing in your venues to celebrate Volunteer week why not host a get-together to say a big 'thank you'? Consider including food and drinks, a guest speaker, workshops, or some fun activities to show your appreciation and bring your volunteer community together. If you do, Tennis Sussex would love to hear from you!
This week also marks the opening of nominations for the 2026 LTA Tennis Sussex Awards, the perfect opportunity to celebrate the dedicated individuals who make a real difference in your venue. Nominations open on the 1st June-30th November.
Each venue is invited to nominate one outstanding volunteer who deserves recognition for their hard work, passion, and commitment to your tennis venue. Every volunteer nominated will get a shout out on social media and either a thankyou phone call from a member of the Tennis Sussex management board OR a digital thankyou card.
